East & Northern Sydney

The East & Northern Sydney junior winter cricket competition, aligned with the Sixers Conference, is open for young cricketers in U10, U12, and U14 age groups. The age group cut off date is 31/08/2025

Venues:

EAST

  • U12 – Robertson Rd, Moore Park

  • U14 – Robertson Rd, Moore Park & Upper Kippax, Moore Park

NORTH SYDNEY

  • U10 – Macfarlane Reserve, Davidson

  • U12 – Karuah Park, Turramurra

  • U14 – Forsyth Park, Neutral Bay

Maximum of 4 teams per grade will be accepted.

Competition Format:

  • 6 regular rounds, starting Sunday 3rd May

  • No rain make-up rounds

Finals Format:

14th June

  • Qualifier: 1st vs 2nd

  • Knock Out: 3rd vs 4th

21st June

  • Challenger: Loser of Qualifier vs Winner of Knock Out

28th June

  • Grand Final: Winner of Qualifier vs Winner of Challenger

  • 3rd Place Playoff: Remaining 2 teams

Rain contingency: If finals on 14th June are rained off, the competition will move to traditional semi-finals on 21st June (1 vs 2 and 3 vs 4).

All teams will have a minimum of 8 matches scheduled, ensuring fairness and plenty of cricket for every player.

Note on Availability:
Given the limited spots in East & Northern Sydney, if you miss out in any age group, we recommend considering the Inner West. This location offers options for U10, U12, and U14, with matches around Concord.

Age Groups

  • U10's

    The U10 division is designed as an introduction to cricket, helping players learn the basics, develop fundamental skills, and experience the fun of the game in a supportive and team-focused environment.

  • U12's

    The U12 division helps players sharpen their skills and build a deeper understanding of the game. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, this age group provides an excellent foundation for continued growth and enjoyment in cricket.

  • U14's

    In the U14 division, the focus shifts toward competitive play and advanced skill development. Players gain valuable experience through more challenging matches, while continuing to develop their passion, confidence, and understanding of cricket.

  • Yes. We have multiple grades.

    • U10’s can have up to 9 players participate per game. There can only be 7 players on the field at the same time.

    • U12’s can have up to 11 players participate per game. There can only be 9 players on the field at the same time.

    • U14’s and U16’s can have up to 11 players participate per game.
